SAFE Housing, Inc. Receives $2,500 Donation from the Enterprise Mobility Foundation™
SAFE Housing, Inc. is thrilled to announce it has been selected to receive a generous $2,500 donation from the Enterprise Mobility Foundation™. This contribution will support SAFE Housing, Inc.'s ongoing efforts to repair homes for low-income families who cannot afford necessary repairs.

SAFE Housing, Inc. Receives HUD Grant of $2 Million to Improve Housing Conditions for Low-Income Families
SAFE Housing, Inc. is one of only 22 organizations to be awarded funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Healthy Homes Production Grant Program. SAFE Housing, Inc.’s $2 million grant will be aimed at addressing critical health and safety hazards in the homes of up to 200 low-income Adams County homeowners over the next 3 ½ years.
SAFE Housing, Inc. Receives $10,000 Donation from the Rice Family Foundation
SAFE Housing, Inc. is among 78 nonprofit organizations to be awarded a one-time grant of $10,000 from The Rice Family Foundation in 2023. This contribution will support the repair of homes for four low-income homeowners, enhancing their living conditions and overall quality of life.

The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) has awarded a $7,358,854 grant to SAFE Housing, Inc. to support energy efficiency projects and activities benefiting low-to-moderate income Marylanders.
Enhancing Energy Efficiency and Safety in Low-Income Housing through MEA Partnership
With funding from the Maryland Energy Administration's (MEA) 2018 Clean Energy Communities Low-to-Moderate Income Grant Program (LMI) SAFE Housing, Inc. enhanced energy efficiency and addressed health and safety issues in low-to-moderate income housing in Western Maryland. Through this funding partnership, over 70 homes in three communities in Washington County benefited from weatherization upgrades, including LED lighting, ENERGY STAR appliances, air sealing, increased insulation, and HVAC system improvements.
